Northwood Christian Church Preschool is dedicated to Jesus Christ by providing all children the opportunity to experience His love in a safe, positive, and nurturing, educational environment.

The information that you will need as well as the registration form for this school year is available at the church. Please complete the registration form and return it to Northwood as soon as possible. The preschool must receive the registration form, your child’s current immunization record, and the registration fee before your child will be registered at the preschool. Registrations are accepted on a first-come basis.

What will your child be doing at preschool?

Our mission is to make sure that children will have the opportunity to learn and grow at their individual rate and ability in a safe, positive, nurturing, Christian environment.

We will accomplish this by allowing the children to choose from various learning centers throughout the morning.

Your child will be encouraged to develop both small and large motor skills, social skills, cognitive skills, creativity and imagination.

Children learn by doing. As they build with blocks or put a puzzle together, they are learning about sequencing as well as sorting and patterning, all of which are pre-math skills.

As they play dress-up and take turns at the centers, they are learning valuable social skills for the future.

As they stand in front at circle time with show –and-tell activities, they are learning how to speak in front of a group with confidence and poise.

We will have weekly themes and Bible lessons.

We will sing songs and share stories.

We will have special visitors and fun field trips.

We will celebrate holidays and birthdays.

Most importantly, together we will learn about God’s love.
