G.O.L.F. Children’s Program
Wednesday G.O.L.F. Program
Mid-week Gathering of Loving Friends is a congregation-wide program designed to establish and strengthen family relationships by “breaking bread” together at 5:55 p.m., and then connecting in small group activities from 6:45 – 7:45 on Wednesday evenings. Over the 12-week session, Children’s Ministries explores Biblical themes and principles to open children’s hearts to God’s work in their lives.
Nursery care is provided for our youngest friends, conducted as described for Sunday morning worship.
Kingdom Kids for children ages 4 – 2nd grade. Children meet from 6:45 to 7:45 in Room 11. A 12-week Bible-themed curriculum includes a scriptural lesson and application (visual arts). Kingdom Kids also explore the various ways we communicate with God through praise (performing arts) and prayer (visual and language arts).
Lifeliners for children in grades 3-5, meets in Room 12. Lifeliners focus on the same Bible-themed curriculum as Kingdom Kids, but emphasize 1) how the lessons apply to their daily conduct and choices and 2) how to integrate Biblical principles in service to others. Lifeliners conclude with corporate worship: a praise time to sustain their faith and prayer time to consider others during the coming week.
Kingdom Kids and Lifeliners meet together the final week of each G.O.L.F. session to express their new understandings through visual and performing arts.
