3 Difficulties That Help Us To Grow

1. Trials.
   But we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. Rom 5:3-5(NIV)
   
   They went to a place called Gethsemane, and Jesus said to his disciples, "Sit here while I pray.“ He took Peter, James and John along with him, and he began to be deeply distressed and troubled. "My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death," he said to them. "Stay here and keep watch.“ Going a little farther, he fell to the ground and prayed that if possible the hour might pass from him. "Abba, Father," he said, "everything is possible for you. 2. Temptations
   A. It is not a sin to be tempted.
   B. We never outgrow temptation.
   C. Every temptation is an opportunity to do the right thing.
   
   Practical Help With Temptation
   1. Develop some accountability in your life.
   2. Find another passion.

3. Hurts.
   vs. 39 Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads
   vs. 41 In the same way the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders mocked him.
