Today's scripture:  Philippians 3:12-16

In a world without patience…but with plenty of get-rich-quick schemes and overnight success plans, Paul has a different proposal…a philosophy of life built on five legs:

1. The plan is “progress…not perfection”.
"Not that I have already obtained all this…but I press on” Phil. 3:12

2. The past is over…forget it.
“Forgetting what lies behind…” (Phil. 3:13b)

3. The future holds out hope…reach for it.
“…and straining for what is ahead…” (Phil. 3:13c)

4. The secret is a determined attitude…maintain it.
“…I press on toward the goal to win the prize…” (Phil. 3:14)

5. The need is to keep a high standard…together.
- “All of us…should…live up to what we have already obtained.” (Phil. 3:15-16)

Forget yesterday. Focus on tomorrow. Have faith formed aspirations. Questors laugh louder and live longer!
